Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is an Mexican American musician and popular actress. Her mother raised her throughout the USA she faced numerous racial insults that made her feel being unwelcome. After she participated in an event at school and was given high praise for her singing when she was in the ninth grade she began to feel more confident. She not only gained confidence through the audition and gained experience, but also changed her the direction of her career. In the year 22 she was able to graduate from the Julliard School of New York. In 1993, she made her Broadway debut in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was You've Got Mail. Her biggest break came with her role as The Lady of The Lake in the first Broadway version of Spamalot. She was awarded the Tony Award and received great praise for the role. Later that year, as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC, she gained greater appreciation. As a well-known singer, she has also recorded an album and a musical. She has also been an advocate for LGBT concerns.
