Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress is known for her portrayals of The Resident's Dr. Sydney Hansen in NBC's drama Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. She also received acclaim for her bold television debut role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. Her notable film appearances are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According to the reports, she's working with Vlas & Charley Parlapanides who co-wrote Immortals for an adaptation to Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. Also, she is making a show titled Gods & Heroes.
