Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago to the actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. The character Jackie Harris was played by her mom in both of her two appearances on Roseanne. She did not explore acting as a profession after reaching the age of adulthood due to her parents being worried about the detrimental impact stress might cause. Perry was shy in high-school and was not a performer. Her first acting experience was in the year 2000 at Northwestern University to gain friends as she transferred to the university from Boston University. After graduating Perry went into New York to search for jobs on television, landing small parts in series like Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought Perry back home to California where she found theater work. Perry's mother and I appeared on Broadway together as part of The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015, she starred with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning drama Anna Christie. The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of the ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. Her father portrayed her in The ABC show Scandal. She played the role of the younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series of CBS's The Big Bang Theory was another younger portrayal of her mother. The character was chosen by auditions, even having a strong connection with it.
