David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25 1949) is an American journalist anchor, reporter and anchor. Muir is best known for his show World News Tonight. Through its animated movements and the dramatic clips of celebrities' gossip, his show has become the top-rated news program in America. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning television series. He was the chief anchor in the interim of the show's predecessor Diane Sawyer before taking over ABC World News Tonight. The majority of his primetime ABC News specials include Breaking Point the Story of Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint - Refugees and refugees in America. He has traveled around the world to cover news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He is the recipient of numerous Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Honors and awards from Associated Press.
